American Gem Society
Founded by Robert Shipley in 1934, the AGS is the only jewellery organization that provides courses, diplomas, and requires you abide by a strict code of ethics as well as pass a re-certification examination annually.
ART IN THE PARK
Art in the Park is an annual event put on by The Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) at Windsor Ontario Canada's historic Willistead Manor. It remains a major fundraiser for this Rotary club's charitable activities.

The GIA is the pre-eminent organization in the world for providing Gemological training and Research. Founded in 1934, its two main American offices are in New York, N.Y., and Carlsbad California.
Owned by world renowned Bill Larson, their main retail outlet is hidden away under a canopy of trees in Fallbrook California, which is about 1 mile North of San Diego edging into the Pala mountains.
Inside is an extraordinary collection of rare coloured gemstones, unique mineral specimens, and collectables.
Bill literally travels the world in search of the rarest gems for his substantial dealer business. Recent additions include a sizeable investment in a large lot of Paraiba Tourmaline from Mozambique.
The Rotary Club is an international service organization of professional men and women with over 1.1 million members in 144 countries all dedicated to assisting others both in their community, and worldwide.
In Windsor Ontario Canada, the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) was the first of the present 10 clubs located in South Western Ontario, with a current membership of 138 members. Its recent projects include the Children's Safety Village, Polio Plus, and the Ghana project. In 1922 it founded the Crippled Civilians Society which became the present day Easter Seal Society.
